ABOUT GEORGE
George Abdelmalak is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of proven success in the field of consumer electronics and telecommunications industries. Diversity of his experience makes him unique, holding senior level positions at Helio, Hyla Mobile, Blackbelt Defence Software, and P4C Global.
As the head of Sales Operations at Helio, he had responsibility of rolling out over 4,000 stores nationally. At Helio he built out a sales operations department that was responsible for all planning and execution of product, collateral, forecasting, and regional management to all points of distribution. George was then recruited by the COO and co-founder of Hyla Mobile to launch a pilot for the 1st carrier grade mobile trade in program. Mr. Abdelmalak was able to achieve a 400% lift in the 1st 6 weeks of the pilot, that garnered a national rollout out of the Sprint account. With George’s leadership and retail experience, he was able to reach 100M in revenue from the Sprint account in the first year. Mr. Abdelmalak than went on to work for Blackbelt Defence software, a leader in diagnostic and data wipe software for mobile device worldwide. George was recruited to launch their North America operations. Using his background in trade and connections was able to grow the company from 3 accounts to 41 in 12 months, including bringing on the largest electronics 3PL, Brightstar’s Global reverse account and adding 60M device checks a year.
George currently leads the North America mobile team for Blancco technology and continues to be innovate in the product offering and partnerships that will change mobile processing.
